This site is way cool!
You can click on and watch videos of:

The Ventures IN 1960 performning Walk Don't Run on the Dick Clark Show; Duane Eddy in 58 or 59 performing 40 Miles of Bad Road, with his band, all riding on top of an elephant!; Dick Dale in 1963 on the Ed Sullivan Show, performing a medley of Surfin & Swingin - The Wedge - Misirlou; Link Wray's Rumble, with a montage of photos and posters from the earliest days of his career; The Wailers doing Tall Cool One, again against a montage of early photos; Davie Allan & The Arrows, performing Blues Theme live, a few years ago; The Bobby Fuller Four from 1965, performing I Fought The Law from a stage set up to look like a large prison cell! In this video, Bobby is playing the Maple-fingerboard Strat that he was so rarely pictured with; and last but definitely not least, a CLASSIC GOOFUP, with the original Telstar, being played against a backdrop of old photos of the SoCal Surf Band, The Tornadoes, who had NOTHING to do with Telstar, but were famous in their own right for "Bustin Surfboards" and other early Saxed-up and Reverbed-up Surf tunes. Got a half-hour to kill? Go Check It Out!!!

NOTE: When the master page opens, most often, The Ventures recording of Pipeline is playing, with no player controls evident, and the only way you can enjoy the videos, is to stop Pipeline. Just put your cursor anywhere on the page, right click, and then click "Play" in the little pop-up, and you'll have turned Pipeline OFF, and then you can listen to the other music without having two recordings playiing at once!
