Maybe Berlin Beatet Bestes knows more? http://mischalke04.wordpress.com/
Unfortunately theres no search function on his blog a this time :(
He made one mention of Sincron on his blog, but does not provide any additional info other than them being a "Romanian beat group", circa 1969. I need to go back and listen to this album, I must have totally missed the 1 or 2 good tracks. (No, I didn't listen to the whole thing...)
By the way, you can make any site searchable with google; just do a search like:
Sincron site:mischalke04.wordpress.com

Yuzo Kayama performing with the Ventures
Anyone know which record this is (the pic have the Liberty label logo so I assume it's a record)? Did Kayama actually record with the Ventures?
If you didnt find out already -
it s from a Japanese e.p of the Ventures featuring Ginza Lights/Kimi to itsumademo/ Yozora no hoshi & 8 Miles high, Liberty Records (LP-4180).
(Yuzo kayama is not playing on the songs though.)

Ha! That's my friend David Fung from Hong Kong. There's videos of him playing a couple of other Takeshi Terauchi songs in his videos.

Yeah, by now I know the pic was from the Ginza Lights EP. Thanks anyway.

Bootage? It's not a bootleg if that's what you mean. Here's the full Liberty Records EP picture sleeve:

I hope no one from here has a hand in this. Then again, if you pay that much for Eleki Guitar No Subete , the crushing disappointment that follows is pretty justified.

Here's a little something on the opposite side of things price wise:
I was going to bid on an original copy of the 1965 Trumpet In Blue Jeans album but forgot to do it before the auction ended (I always like to bid late). The starting bid was set to only $1.00 and it went unsold!
http://cgi.ebay.com/170541169384
To make things worse, the seller has now relisted the album with a starting bid of EUR 39.99 ($52.52).
There was also a CD reissue in the early 90's but it's now long time out of print.

Damn, that sucks, Klas. That would have been a pretty great score for $1!
The last time the Rashomon LP was on eBay, I got distracted and got back to my computer a few seconds after the auction ended - with no bids. The seller relisted it, and it sold for, well, too much. Bummer.

Life's hard sometimes, haha.
Do you have the Trumpet In Blue Jeans album? I'm only familiar with the cool version of "Kickstand" but would be good to know what the entire album is like before paying any larger sums for it.
And for anyone with a big wallet, the out of print CD reissue I mentioned above can be had for "only" 19,740 Yen ($232.87) here:

Nope, sorry. I don't have any of the early Bluejeans stuff on vinyl except Let's Go Eleki. If those are the same versions of several songs that are on the Early Times 1964-1965 CD collection, though, then it's probably good but not great.
That CD reissue's a bargain! Can't believe you didn't buy it.

I'm pretty sure those aren't the same versions as I assume that the trumpet album has trumpet included all over it. On "Kickstand", the trumpet sounds great and works as a sort of complement to Terry's guitar.
