all of the bands yesterday were really good.
lots of people there for Slacktone, then kinda cleared out.
John and the Trespassers were a hoot to see.
so good to see John really knocking it outta the park again. _________________ Jeff(bigtikidude)

I can only give a partial review, my highlights, dug that Tsunami Blue did a couple of Spies Who Surf covers as well as Sing, Sing, Sing. Boardwalkers did a cover of Gear. Missed the Pyronauts, but caught them the night before. Had to leave during Outerwave who were surely sounding good. Missed Slacktone and Jon Blair.

yeah I am all for car pooling.
but I always say, I hope you don't mind staying for the whole show, and a bit after wards. to hang out and chat a bit/unwind.
if they say well I'm not sure.
then I say, well maybe better we go separate. _________________ Jeff(bigtikidude)

John Blair and The Trespassers were a real treat. As expected John was simply killer on lead. Marty Tippens was dishing out some really tasty rhythm licks on every song. Marty really complimented what John was doing on lead. Nice job Marty. John Blair sounded HUGE! I thought everyone in the band did a great job. Give these guys a few more gigs together & they will be monsters.
Slacktone of course was off the hook. The place was full by the end of their set. people were dancing in front of the stage. One of the best sets I have ever seen from Slacktone.
Unfortunately I had some other obligations in the morning so I missed some excellent performances by the other bands. |

Thanks Tim and Brian. I'll have some Slactone vids to post as well. I don't have the Outterwave, Tsunami Blue or Pyronauts but I saw a lot of camaras out there and I'm sure hoping that stuff turns up on Youtube soon.
