Great news - The Madeira got their shipment of CD's today, so they will definitely have this new release for sale during their east coast tour this weekend (Friday - Sunday). We'll have them available at www.dblcrown.com starting May 27th (next Tuesday). However, if you're a member of the Double Crown Music Club we'll start shipping those out this Friday. If you'd like to join the Double Crown Music Club (4 consecutive releases for $35 US / $40 Canada $45 Rest of the World) e-mail me at records@dblcrown.com or PM me. You can start with our new Bonney & Buzz CD, our new Penetrators DVD or the new Madeira CD. _________________ Sean

Hey, just checking in from the road.
I'm on one of those free hotel computers, so I'll just keep it brief and say the tour so far is going GREAT!!!
We are so lucky to be tagging along and playing with all these killer surf bands; Madeira, Nebulas, Coffin Daggers, Tritons etc...
Really great crowds so far too!! At all-surf shows too? Go figure? It's awesome!! And tonight we get to do it all over again at Otto's.
--
Tired, but Stoked!!
Skeeter (Paul)
BTW-There will be videos from all three shows. |

I finally returned home just a bit ago. What a trip!!! Exhausting but beyond memorable! We had a GREAT time, and LOVED all the bands we played with, especially the Coffin Daggers and the Atomic Mosquitos. I traveled about 2000 miles by car in less than five days and am dead, and there's a lot waiting for me to deal with at home, so a fuller report will follow tomorrow or Thursday. A huge thank you to everybody that contributed to making these three shows a success, especially Paul "skeeter" Carson, Viktor Dominicis of the Coffin Daggers, and of course Unsteady Freddie! Thanks so much, guys! And, of course, a big thanks to everybody that came to the shows - we really appreciate it, and it was great to see again and in some cases meet all the surf music fans!

I am beyond grateful to you, b/c your music stirs my soul deeply; your band, LIVE, were just great!!! (I first saw you perform at EXOTICA in Chicago in 2005, and was knocked back then....but the 2 nights this past weekend...I am pretty close to speechless)
just want to make sure you this, from ASBURY LANES

thx for gracing the little stage at OTTO's and thrilling us all, beyond belief

Hi everyone there !
Iīll just take the chance to congratulate Ivan & his Madeiras for this awesome release, shocking guitar tones and writing, and team work.
This is a must have, indeed!!! So if you donīt already have it, run to buy it!
I canīt get enough of Ivanīs inspiring playing/writing, I hope we can materialize that project one day soon, Ivan.
There are many favourites for me on Carpe Noctem, the covers they picked up are just as amazing as the rest of material addressed on it!
SOS: the achievement on the feeling on that one is insuperable...
El Flaco: HUGE, with that Baritone going deep...
The Saracen!!! Undercurrents!!!! Whoaaa!!!
And End of the Circle, what a way of completing this cd !!!
Great job, lads, great job !!!
Vibes to all from Berlin,
Alex Anthony |
