To help prepare for the weekend's onslaught of surf fueled mayhem, we're happy to announce this year's sg101 convention San Diego Pre-party! This year is really special as we're lucky to have one of the greatest instro surf bands of all time, The Space Cossacks!!
If that weren't enough, also on the bill is the surf super group, Frankie & The Poolboys consisting of Ferenc Dobronyi from Pollo Del Mar, Danny Snyder from The TomorrowMen/Meshugga Beach Party, Karen Dobronyi from Meshugga Beach Party, Naotaka Seki from The Surf Coasters, Tony Bald from The TomorrowMen.
Rounding out the lineup will be San Diego's, The Secret Samurai who will start things off at 10pm. $6.00 at the door will get you more than adequate reverb poisoning. We hope to see as many sg101ers as possible to help kick off the weekend!

I think the only thing that could be cooler than that flyer is the actual show itself! Awesome! I might have to drive down to SD to catch it!

Great Flyer Ryan,
as with last Year,
having the SD show and a LA/OC area show is a double edged sword.
Its great that we can get the Out of town bands a gig for the night before the SG101 Con. But its a tough decision for which one to go to.
I wish I could be at that one, But Alas I will have to be at Dons that night.
with Outerwave,Wadadli Riders,Space Rangers, and Atomic Mosquitos.

The same guy who thought it was a good idea to have a 12 hour surf concert the next day.

the show on sat is only 8 hours.
with 2 hours of Jams added.
