I discovered Portuguese fado singer Ana Moura on Jools Holland yesterday. Listening to her most recent album on Spotify now, but I'll be buying this on CD:

Somewhat bossa-nova-ish, but a bit more passionate and sultry. Gorgeously melodic, with prominent guitars and other stringed instruments. And Ms. Moura is an incredible singer, I really love the sound of her voice and her phrasing. Check out a Jools performance:

Bambi Molesters - From Croatia
Don't know why I never gave them a listen before this!
They are Fantastic. A sound all their own.
Never had a moment where I said "oh, sounds like..."
Having four people in the band really fills it out
to a nice full sound.

X-mass is really early this year, mailman brought Double Crown package, which Im listening at work at the moment. Just listened twice to the new Madeira, now:
