But in the period of '65-'67 they still created some remarkable music, even if it was not necessarily rock'n'roll in any real sense of the world. I'd recommend giving it a chance. And Jeff, I completely understand about their post-'69 output, but there's one exception: their '73 reunion album, "Rockin' With Curly Leads", which I think is absolutely freakin' genius, and a return to rock music in many ways. I don't know what collection you have that goes into the '70s, but if it has any songs from that album, give them another shot.
