Danger Mouse - The Grey Album

I never would've thought I'd see reference to that album on this site. I downloaded that album way back in the day just because it was a big F U to the man and I thought it was a cool story. I'm not a hip hop fan by any means, but I thought what Dangermouse did with that album was very very clever, and it was a definite prequel to some of the amazing work he's done since then. I love his collaboration productions (the spaghetti western album Rome was awesome) and I love his production styles that totally added a different flavor to the Black Keys and Beck albums a few years ago.

As for what I'm listening to RIGHT NOW:

This album is so bad ass! Seriously!

Special thanks to my reverb brutha JonPaul who brought it back from Europe for me Big Grin

Daikaiju, eagerly awaiting their gig in Philly but no venue posted yet.

North Sea surf radio.
I keep hoping the weekend DJ shows
Will come back.

Los Belkings - El Guasón

This is a great cover of this, though i think I like the Phantom Surfers version better. It's been a Ventures weekend so far.

Jeremy

I just listened to the cousin Mary archive from last nights
Show on KFJC where she interviewed Threesome and Kilaueas.

Jeff(bigtikidude)

listening to my monday night radio show and watching the sunset. the sound quality of our little local radio station is top notch. i wish they had the money for streaming, but their first priority is to extend the broadcast range. i does sound good, i wish i could share with you all.

"Le Planete Sauvage" by Docteur Legume et Les Surfwerks.

The good Docteur prescribes doses of reverb and retro instro bliss! Free downloads too, just google to find them.

It cannot be stressed enough how mindblowingly awesome Massimiliano's music is.

Old punks never die... They just become surf rockers.
