Thanks, surfcrazed! Hope you like it.
I was on a beach vacation for the past week, and I mostly listened to these two albums:

This last one is still unreleased, but I am very lucky to have gotten a sneak preview - folks, hold on to your hats, cause otherwise it's gonna blow them away!!! It's the best thing that El Ray have ever done, and simply a masterpiece!!
Can't get enough of the Derangers album, either - so good! These two provided the perfect soundtrack for the beach, and my vacation was made much better by them. Thanks, El Ray and the Derangers!

I'm sure the El Ray & Derangers cds are both great.

The preorder is up now on bandcamp! http://greencookierecords.bandcamp.com/
Order the vinyl and you get the download immediately.
So I'm listening to it now! Holy smokes El Ray does it again!
edit: I just heard some cowbell. That's it. The universe is complete. Reverb and Cowbell have come together on an album about a mermaid with a DK cover song on it. Can't get no better than that.

Oh, cool! I didn't know that. Thanks, Josh!

Yep, they most certainly do!!! Better than ever, in fact, IMHO.

So, since it can't get any better, does that mean you're now done with surf music?

Neat! Wow does that bring back memories (of LP's being $2 in the PX). Play once through to check it's good, play once to tape it, and then play as needed. I still have that one (along with a couple hundred others in their original jackets). Don't have a turntable anymore; I should yardsale some of this stuff.
