I wasn't going to chime in on this but now I feel I have to. I've been listening to the Yardbirds' Roger the Engineer for the past week in my car. I can't get enough of it. It's funny, I'll put it away and not listen to it for a few years, then find it again and regret not listening to it in a while. The Nazz are Blue just kills. —Matt "tha Kat" Lentz |

late 1970's I had a 69 Econoline with 8track. Played a bootleg 8track of Yarbirds greatest continuously until someone stole the deck with the tape in it. — |

8-track! Ah, the memories of songs being cut off in the middle and continued on the next track. That's a bummer about the tape. I would have loved to hear the bootleg. It's funny that Roger the Engineer is pre-Page, and yet I hear more Led Zeppelin in that collection than in a lot of the Page lineup. —Matt "tha Kat" Lentz |

Awesome Jeremy! Here's a cool interview that just came out yesterday: This video demonstrates his uncanny ability to improvise in the vein of Omar Khorshid I'm currently listening to the latest Nels Cline Singers album, Macroscope. —Ryan Last edited: Jun 23, 2014 18:41:55 |
