Hey, we're getting a Five Guys in town! This'll be interesting as they'll be competing directly with an In-N-Out less than a mile away! Last edited: Feb 25, 2012 10:32:28 |

Five Guys > In-N-Out. Both, while good, will never elevate above a fast food burger. Just a different thing. —

I agree, Jamie. Five Guys, in the realm of upper end fast food, is top notch. —THE KBK ... This is the last known signal. We offer Sanctuary. www.thekbk.com |

In Austin, we have both Five Guys and Top Notch. The drive-in featured in the movie Dazed and Confused is Top Notch. When you're in Austin, you need to try these burger joints: Casino El Camino Any one of them will make you forget you ever heard of Five Guys. —Ted James |

I recently tried Five Guys and while I thought it was a good burger, I'm hungry, I think it's almost lunch time. —Jeff(bigtikidude) |

To me... if you are eating Five Guys you might as well be eating McDonald's or Burger King. The truth is it's not much better than those. |

Oh, man, I couldn't disagree with this more. I'll never argue the merits of 5 Guys over a burger joint like The Vortex here in Atlanta, but for fast food, I think it's leaps and bounds better than other places... especially McDonald's or Burger King. I feel the same about In-N-Out when compared to McDonald's or Burger King. —

I've only tried it once and I wasn't impressed... wouldn't go back for another try based on how many great gastropubs around here serve amazing burgers. For another buck or two I am eating some top quality beef and amazing toppings. |

Yeah, Matt, I think you are missing the point. There isn't a single one of us that if faced with chosing between a fast-food burger and a pub burger, wouldn't chose the better. I do agree with Jamie though. The notion of comparing Five Guys seems a bit rediculous, like the food or not. —THE KBK ... This is the last known signal. We offer Sanctuary. www.thekbk.com |

Just found out about a place not too far from my work called Oh My Burger that looks to be pretty good. They even make the Krispy Kreme donut burger - I'll try to get over there soon and report... — |
