April Birthdays 
Just in case there's somebody from Austin here on SG101 that hasn't gotten the word of mouth or FB posts, my band The Spoils is looking for a new bassist. Details:
New bassist needed for instrumental surf-based trio The Spoils. Our current bassist is going back to school this fall and we're looking for someone who can take his place permanently. Link to our album on Deep Eddy Records (via bandcamp) below, we're looking for these traits in particular:
- Into noise/indie/punk rock with an ear for classic surf instrumentals. We're a loud band but we like strong melodies. Very interested in non-standard-rock rhythms, our drummer is currently studying samba and I spent two years playing taiko in Japan.
- Available for weekly rehearsal and monthly shows around Central Texas. Currently practice Thursdays at 8p.
- We're grown-ups with kids, but having the potential for long-weekend tours would be a plus.
- Open to nearly any skill/age level, if you're interested and can play a steady rhythm, then get in touch!
