That's a Teisco style tremolo, how is the action on that? |

i really like the tremolo, i need to shim the neck so i can raise the bridge though because the strings are almost flat against the bridge —http://dinosaurghost.bandcamp.com/ |

I got the same tremolo from GF and intend to put it on my Godin RADIATOR. Neck shim will not do it for me, I need to drop tremolo into the body.....anyways, nice Strat —Not surf but you might like it: |

those radiators have a huge open route in them, you could cut a hole in the pickguard for the trem and then make a wood block riser to make it exactly the height you need. it might look pretty funky though, i wonder if there is a way to install a buzz stop bar to keep the strings low enough to work with your bridge DonBale wrote: — http://dinosaurghost.bandcamp.com/ |

'block riser' is the idea......I think it'll be cool.....BTW my Radiator (No1, I have 2 of those) is already 'modified'....not really, but it has Baritone strings, tuned to C.....next step is Tremolo..... —Not surf but you might like it: |

what kind of bridge are you going to put on it? the stock bridge is like a hard tail strat right? —http://dinosaurghost.bandcamp.com/ |

Here you go, first pic, as it is now + what's going on, the original bridge is like Strat hard tail, next pic just the new bridge, I forgot which model, it's all from GuitarFetish —Not surf but you might like it: Last edited: Jan 27, 2015 18:37:23 |

Is that a reissue Teisco Vibrato? We just put one on an old Teisco that Kiwamu, my band mate has and it works great. The spring has really nice tension. Not too light, not too stiff. —http://www.facebook.com/CrazyAcesMusic |
