Mostly hollow on the insides. Just a solid block down the center not much wider than the pickups.

There are quite a few pointy, metal shredders I'd gladly sacrifice to the flame, but this is something that should have been aborted.

That thing is only 'actually being a firebird' away from being a useful guitar.

My first guitar was a Hondo acoustic. The action on that thing reminded me of the cables on the Verazzano Narrows bridge. About the only good thing it ever did was have it's neck dramatically crack just as my friend passed gas particularly loudly. The way I now explain synchronicity
