some more, which I like:

"Blue Drag" - Cool tune from the Kilaueas (original by Django Reinhardt) with Kilaueas original guitarist Volker in 2005/2006 - from their "Professor Volcanova" album...

I'm curious about Volker. Is he in other bands? Dark Eyes, Caravan and Blue Drag aside, I feel many melodies from Volcanova and Mundaka Calls have gypsy jazz sounds (chromatics, arpeggios-based, diminished sounding stuff).

I meet Volker here and there at local gigs. He plays with a german band called "Leopold Kraus Wellenkapelle" - they do some nice surfy/fuzzy beat-music, but I haven't seen them for long time now (I think Volker joined 2 years ago). They sound much different - not like the Kilaueas.

I just saw this thread. If they haven't already been mentioned, check out Arrows Out.

This is mostly jazz, but parts of it really surf, vibrato bar and everything. Plus it has a real cool, catchy groove.

This is Noel. Reverb's at maximum an' I'm givin' 'er all she's got.

Updated version of our "Well You Needn't" Thelonious Monk Surf-Jazz cover. Recorded live on radio station broadcast. Considering recording this and a few other of our jazz-surf tunes as a EP. Wondering if there would be any interest or if it just us that likes the mash up of styles...
