So my band, King Pelican has the honor of opening for Dick Dale tonight here in San Antonio, Texas. The show is at Sam's Burger Joint and I am amped! Just wondering if any south Texas SG101ers might be in attendance tonight?

Thanks guys, it was an awesome show! I feel like it was one of our best if not THE best performances King Pelican has put together.
Dick Dale and band were fantastic. And speaking of DD's band, the highlight of the evening for me was meeting and getting to hang and talk to Dusty Watson and Sam Bolle. Here's a fuzzy phone pic of the evening (better pics coming soon).

So, a year later...we were invited to open the show for Dick Dale - again at the same venue. Sam's Burger Joint. It was a rocking evening!

Your band is so good, no surprise Dick wanted you back again. Great photo, and hoping a new CD is in the offing.

Congrats for sure!
I have never had the pleasure of meeting Sam, but Dusty is a very special person. I always look forward to crossing paths with him.
The Surge! guys sincerely appreciate his providing the drums when we have been fortunate enough to perform in California!
