Sorry about the photo quality. 1966 Bandmaster with 215 cabinet. Thanks to Eddie Katcher and Richard for helping me get it to and from a proper amp guy. Sounds killer now! Fender Supersonic Twin/Bassman 100 on the right. Mid 90s Made in Japan Jag surrounded by intoxicated impulse buy sundries. Now I just need to learn how to play! |

Dave-o! Nice rig(s)! Glad be able to help you out with the Bandmaster. Matching color Jag and vintage coiled cord.......spiffy. I'll bet that Bandmaster woofs with that 2-15 cab on the hardwood floor. Vox organ? You've been holding out on us, eh? I have always wanted one of those. Had Farfisas and Hammonds, but never had a Vox. I had a Super Beatle amp for several years but traded it away some years back. Duh....... Hope you can join us at Karvarna next month! Reverbs, ed —Traditional........speak softly and play through a big blonde amp. Did I mention that I still like big blonde amps? |

Thanks for the kind words Eddie! I like to think I get decent style points, but unfortunately I have less execution than the California penal system. Yeah, the Bandmaster with the 2x15 definitely woofs on the hardwood. Throw in all of the floor to ceiling glass and vaulted ceiling she can get pretty darn loud. The organ is actually a 60's GEM Model P Deluxe. Made in the same Italian factory as the Vox. It's essentially a Vox Jaguar only with a few more voices. I'm definitely coming up to the July Stomp to check out The Surge! I'll see you there for sure! |

Funny you should mention it Chris
It was ridiculous! But my wife had no problem with the amp once she heard the whole story of how I got it. Now the room is packed, Jeff will come pick a lot of these up for the SG101 convention. The rest are going to be moved to the new place. Boost wrote: — Last edited: Jul 24, 2015 23:01:21 |
