Yes, I like everything to look bitchin'. Now, if I only had the band to go with it! Still trying to get my chops to where I can form a band. Sigh. Gavin |

Actually, it's a 50W Reverberocket reish. Kinda wish I'd held out for a real 60's one, though. It's not a bad amp, but I really don't need all 50 watts, as I mainly play it @ home ( that and the vintage ones have tremolo). — |

Here's the main "Lava Rig", listed in the unorthodox "reverse" order: '67 Dual Showman (2x15 with a D-130 on top and a D-140f on the bottom) Also, into the normal channel, with a Behringer Digital Delay, is my brand-spanking new theremin.

Thanks for admiring. I got the theremin off of ebay. The guy sells all the time, you can either type in "theremin" or "theremaniacs", and they sell for $120 USD. It doesn't have the volume coil out of the side, but if you are out of the eighteen inch range of the antenna, it stays silent, which is a small tradeoff, considering the Moog etherwave, which has the independent volume is over $200 more. I mount mine on a small bass-drum mic stand with the 12 inch boom arm, that way it stands right at about waist height. You can buy either the mic stand mountable one, or he also sells them in tabletop/floor models that have little rubber feet. I absolutely LOVE it, and people go CRAAAAAZY over it at shows. It's just funny when you go down to reach for your beer and you hear it start cranking. I will say that a little delay makes a huge difference as well. I dropped like $25 or $30 on a Behringer delay that I just place ontop of my amp head and run to the amp input with a small patch cable. ~B~ |

dp that's one of my next buys is a 51' p-bass, I can't seem to find the sunburst models and I freakin dig yours it's a beauty I have seen the sting models around but I don't want his model with his name and don't get me wrong I dig the police and sting's early stuff. —-Kyle Beyond The Surf YouTube channel |
