Dude... that is incredibly sharp. Are you Scot or Jordan, if you are Scot welcome back and great to see ya again! And if you are Jordan, welcome! Hope to see you guys some day soon. Super jealous you have Steve on drums, he is one of my favorite people. I don't have access to our facebook page but he left a funny message the other day, if he sees this, that was AWESOME! |

LOL! You made the right choice leaving here! I had hopes of one day forming a band with you. Matt O. still is on again/off again with surf and Dino can never stay in a band longer than 2 weeks. GREAT to see you're still playing because you're a GREAT guitarist with excellent tone! —Matt "tha Kat" Lentz |

Bandmaster is beautiful gear. This amp is unusual in France. I've seen few in 50 years. |

My current main rig, don't laugh, I am in a small apartment currently with no room for my main gear,(the Princeton, FDRI & 64' Bandmaster are in storage for a while), sounds great for practice at home (although it took a while to tweak the Fuse software to get good tones) Fender Mustang Mini (Eminence speaker upgrade) - with Fender Fuse software 'Surf Music Lasts Forever' Last edited: Aug 10, 2014 20:26:20 |

Looks just like mine... before I cannibalized the neck, pickups and hardware to put on a "stratomaster" body. I totally agree with your comment, and even though I am definitely not a Strat guy, I do think these are some of the finest guitars Squier ever made. —Old punks never die... After looking at all of these rigs I'm almost ashamed to post mine. I really need to get a real tube amp. Digital reverb can only do so much for your ears. |

I'm actually a righty that plays a lefty Jake...but only when I play the (dirty word) Strat! We'd love to play with you guys sometime soon whether it's up in Seattle or here in Portland. Anyway, back to topic....I'll try and post some gear pic updates soon. —Last edited: Aug 12, 2014 03:24:17 |

Here's my scratch-built Strat and newly rebuilt Alamo reverb and my trusty old Heathkit TA-16 amp, which has a very nice reverb itself. Photos taken with a crappy cell phone.

Still a work in progress. Working on the wiring at the moment, as I want to implement a neck+bridge switch. The neck pocket is slightly too deep for the Squier neck so I'll have to cut a flat shim too. The body is from a Jack & Danny JM-10. It's a very cheap but pretty decent guitar. Still, the neck, pickups and hardware from the CV50s are a definite improvement. As I said I'm not really a Strat guy so I don't have much experience with them and I'm not really qualified to give you advice about pickups. I'm pretty sure there is plenty of information about them on the forum though. FWIW I'm quite happy with the ones from the CV50s -- apparently they're Tonerider Surfaris. —Old punks never die...
