Noel,
I would love to say yes, but I don't see how I can.
Not to make it a contest, but if you try come out to SG101 in Aug.
I will try to make it to Insto Summit.in May.

Jeff, I AM actually trying to figure this out. Any hints about the cost to be out there for three or fours days would be extremely helpful. Sharing a room or even space on a sofa or floor would also help a lot if that could be arranged. I don't care about anything but soaking in the reverb and meeting everyone.

great line up once again chris. i plan to be there at least one night but my schedule will be around a band i'm now playing in.

i am also going to retire from the 'i'm branded' solo contest. it's time for some others to step up. i'm stepping away while i'm ahead. Popcorn

Noel,
maybe post yer question about this in the old SG101 convention thread.
so we don't derail this one.

This looks like a real blast, is it all booked up yet?

Awesome lineup. I hope to attend the entire event!!

Update:

Still working on a hotel deal, and also gathering up sponsors as fast as I can, as I just learned Vintage Guitar's deadline for our next ad is very, very soon. In the meantime, though, you can now get advance tickets via this link:

'Nuther Update:

Sponsors on board this year: Pabst, DiPinto, Eastwood, Double Crown Records, Vintage Guitar, Best Bass Gear, and the Surf King. In a bit of sad news, Utz Quality Foods has turned us down this year, since the Casbah doesn't carry snacks of any kind behind its' bar. Cry

Still one the prowl for additional sponsorships; if anyone has some ideas, let me know.

Crispy, I know a band that was once sponsored by Carolina Treet (BBQ Sauce). That was a while ago, but it might be worth a shot?

This will be EPIC!!

So excited about this. We always have a great time. But it is going to be nice to have a night to be members of the audience for the first time.

THE KBK ... This is the last known signal. We offer Sanctuary.

It's a very special experience for sure.

Some of our band are keeping an eye on our schedules to see if we can make it out, as audience members and to get a chance to meet some of you in person.
I hope we can do it. Sounds awesome.

ALERT! WHOOP WHOOP!

Just added the Vivisectors to the Sunday night lineup. Details on where exactly soon.

A Colorado contingent is now booked for flights. Me and the machine-like CD and signature collector that is JD. I am up for this. Three nights (and an afternoon) of east coast instrumental rock!

14 miles 18 minutes plus some flight time

I'm gonna need a bigger media budget! And a hotel room. I better get to it.

This is Noel. Reverb's at maximum an' I'm givin' 'er all she's got.

I am excited to hear that Vivisectors are on the bill. I am sad that it is on Sunday night. This goes for a handful of other bands playing on Sunday as well. Myself and the rest of the KBK guys will have to be headed home that morning in order to get back to the kiddies and our jobs.
