Thumbs Up Thumbs Up Thumbs Up REALLY glad the maiden flight of El Mirage was a big success!! Cheers Looking forward to the videos, and hearing more from the band!

(BTW, the photo above would be perfect for the cover of a Gomez Amplification promotional flier!)

On a side note, the Madeira did get one call for Freebird at the show we played the next night (In Fayette-nam!), to which Patrick immediately belted out the first verse! It was classic!

Laughing Patrick's a wild man... that's freaking hilarious. Thanks so much for the kind, encouraging words, and for noticing we were smuggling armadillos in our khakis. (WTF?! Big Grin ) I thoroughly broke my ass on many songs. Well on all 20 songs, and in many places, but we still had fun anyway!

Looking good fellows, love the uniforms! Some seriously nice gear onstage as well.

I predict good things for the band? You guys need to move forward with the group and go all in.

METEOR IV on reverbnation

Appreciate all the looks, kind words and encouragement. Couldn't resist sharing one more photo from Saturday. It really was a hoot. Hoping to do it again sometime soon.

Original note with the photo...
Just a question- Jamie in mid-flight: badass, or super-badass? :D

Which got a response...
Definitely SUPER-BADASS. /m/

Only to be followed up by...
If you look closely, you'll see that Jamie jumped when he heard Fady start singing!

Good stuff!

So, this must be asked: why is the young man that just days ago received an amazingly beautiful Johnny Marr Jaguar using his Yamaha SGV for this gig???? Confused

Looks more to me like the music was causing him to levitate, which would be MEGA-BADASS!! image

he was trying to get the reverb tank to crash to the beat of the music
by bouncing up n down.

I like the retro, classic, Sears and Roebuck Co. attire paired with the SGV. He's kind of like a hip G.I. that was stationed overseas and came back with the latest Japanese electric guitar.

Yep..he just needed some black horn-rimmed glasses??

Super cool photo btw.

I'd ordinarily look for Mike to answer for himself, but also happen to know he's buried in a move and might possibly not resurface for a few days.

He seriously considered breaking bad with the new JAGMARR, but having only a couple short days to get acquainted before the first gig, he ultimately chose the familiarity of his ol' trusty friend. Understandable in the full context - I'd do the same for sure.
