Permalink Good Case for Mosrite Style Guitar?

New Topic

I recently purchased a DiPinto Mach 4 guitar which is their knock-off version of a Mosrite and it shipped with a pretty cheap hard case that really doesn't fit well. It's a universal deal and the headstock actually rest on the bottom (angled headstock).

So I'm looking for a decent replacement? SKB, Gator, Fender, etc. Most likely I'll be ordering from an online dealer so would like to get it right the first time.

If anybody can help it would be most appreciated.

Thanks

"Golden Gate (China) makes a good hardshell case for that guitar. The thing is, You should take the guitar with you to a (Good) music store & try fitting the Mach 4 into the various choices they offer. The reason being is to avoid frustration of "came in mail, doesn't fit" ! I have SKB cases for my Strat's but the GG case I mentioned houses my Eastwood "Hi-Flyer" (similar shape). I would take the guitar to a good music store & experiment, so then you will KNOW the axe fits the case & you'll have a good fit. Happy Huntin'. (The "Fender" case probably won't fit that guitar).

Problem is the local music stores don't stock much in the way of cases, especially for anything outside the norm.

See if you can find any details about Saga "Golden Gate" cases. (www.instruments.thefind.com) I'm almost sure you'll find one & it won't "break the bank". I live on the "spacecoast" in Florida (Melbourne) & while it may not be a "guitar mecca", you can usually find stuff ya' need. We have 3 "good", bigger music stores & a few smaller ones. There are no "National Brand" music stores here.....ya' have to go to a bigger city. Maybe You could call up some of the "bigger' stores in your area & inquire.

I was going to say a Hallmark case but it looks like the only cases that are listed for separate purchase are for the Sweptwing and Stradette
