I have to agree. I thought it was probably the best season yet.

I still need to catch up on season 4 of SOA. Love that show. I can't wait for the next season of Walking Dead to hit netflix. I happened on that one by chance surfing netflix one day. After I watched every episode that was on there I realized how huge it was. Great show.

Right now, I'm watching Cars 2 with my son. It's usually something like this when I'm home during the week. I have been picking a day that we don't watch any tv for most of the afternoon, and listen to music instead. He seems to dig that, and I keep my sanity!

How many guitars are enough?

Just one more...

Just wanted to add, for those like me that missed Walking Dead season 2....

My channel guide shows that beginning on Sunday afternoon, AMC is repeating the entire season 2, leading up to the new season 3 opening episode.

Get the DVR ready.

That's what they did last time. Right before season 2 started, they ran a marathon of season 1. I just happened to be flipping channels when I caught episode 1. I sat there the entire day and watched all of it, patiently awaiting the start of season 2.

Given the conclusion of the finale (the finale of the finale?) a couple of months ago, I'll be really happy to see them move on...

This isn't season 3 coming up for Walking Dead. It is the second half of season 2.

Ive been watching lots of the food channel and food network shows,
and Man vs. Food on the Travel Channel.
I really must stop watching those shows as good as they are.
They will be the death of me, all the food looks so good.

I just can't watch Adam Richman shoving food into his fat head for a whole hour, but I've always dug No Reservations since it came out (it's equally a travel show, IMHO), though I'm instantly starving by the time it's over.

oh yeah I forgot about Anthony Bordain's "No Reservations" and his
also good is his new show "the layover"

Jeff(bigtikidude)

i did Anthony bordains shows big time, my wife hates him, she says that hes a pompous asshole, i think that's why i like him, i want him to be my drinking buddy

The Layover's great... and yeah, Bourdain is a cynical bastard for sure, but that's something I can also relate to.

Speaking of The Layover, did anyone notice that background music when he was visiting the Tonga Room in SF? Any idea who that is? Maybe it was just commissioned for the show, but it sounded pretty sweet.

i mostly watch the food network and travel channel.

lately, i've been watching 'weeds'. i'm just starting season 6 and am blowing through it before it's removed from the internet. a lot of sites that had it no longer do.

No comment on the new episode of Walking Dead? It's nice to see them venture beyond the farm for a change. Rick finally became a badass. I hope the rest of the season is not about them trying to find dumbass Lori while arguing with Herschel about how they should stay put at the farm. Definitely a good mid-season opener, though. I hope they follow through.

Since I grew up on Long Island Anthony Bordain being cynical is like going home. Man Vs. Food? I'm amazed he's not dead yet. Looking forward to watching Cougar Town tonight.Yes,it's stupid, mindless and absurd. But we're mostly into it for the wine drinking game, they drink wine, then we drink wine. After all, I am Bamboozer.

I liked the Walking Dead premiere too and have the same concerns, but I'm generally optimistic and intend to keep watching. I think the farm situation is about to implode, and not from zombies either... I kind of dig the fact that there is pretty good confirmation that the world is screwed, which may have a lot to do with what the CDC guy told Rick. (Maybe he told him it's viral?)

i saw adam richmond at a friends restaurant, i have never seen anyone look so lethargic and sickly, when hes on camera he peps up, when the camera is off he looks like his going to die

Great series! I have always been into the macabre myself, but I'm also oddly fascinated by Laura Flook, that model/mortician/designer that has been on about 3 episodes. She's a bit like a Tim Burton character come to life.
