This:
I went out for drinks with friends yesterday. I'm not a cocktail person but I saw they had some exotic ones and decided to try one. So I ordered a Blue Hawaiian. I wish I'd taken a picture, because it looked awesome and tasted every bit as good.
Today I wanted to try to make one at home, but I didn't have any Curaçao, so I used Pisang (banana flavored liqueur) instead. I'm calling this a Green Indonesian. It's made of 1 part rum, 1 part Pisang, 2 parts pineapple juice, crushed ice to taste, some whipped coconut cream on top and a slice of melon (didn't have any fresh pineapple at hand either). It's pretty nice

Melitta Columbian coffee, with whole milk of course.
It's my night off so later I'll have a Yuengling lager.
I have a 99¢ bag of Utz potato chips to go with the beer.

A week ago on friday, 2 friends and I shared a bottle of REVERB! There's a long story but let's just say that having friends to share your world with is wonderful.

We are suffering from Florida-like heat & humidity in LA. UGH! I drank a Michelob Amber Bock with chips an guac earlier. THis is weather for 24 oz cans of Coors.

Right now, I'm trying Dieselpunk Stout beer. It may not be Guinness Extra Stout, but the next time I'm at the local Kroger, I may find myself deciding "hmm...Dieselpunk or Guinness?"

In the checkout line at Stop 'n' Shop yesterday around 9:00 AM
I let a professional deposit bottle redeemer go ahead of me.
He used his vouchers to purchase just one item, a 40 oz. Colt 45.

To go with the hot and humid South Texas weather, I've been on the search for a good craft beer lager...found it last night. "Texican", from our local brewer, Blue Star. Tastes similar to Dos Equis and Modelo, but fresher and punchier.

Dumb old Delaware ice tea for the moment, cheap beer and wine later out in the Party Barn.

Well, let's see, a couple of hours ago I started off with two yellow birds. (Rum, rum cream, banana liqueur, orange juice & pineapple juice) Then I mixed up some tequila, orange juice & pineapple juice. After that was gone, I had a bomber (24oz) of Coors & right now I'm polishing off the last of two Mooseheads I had in the fridge. Feelin pretty good! No work tomorrow for me, but I got our 3 year old while my wife is at work & our older kid is in school. Time to take some Advil & go to bed!

I just discovered Newcastle Blood Red Ale. Quite tasty and every bit as good as their traditional brown.
