Who's got the hang-out room?

Well, I'm already here. I was told a lot of us have checked into the University Inn. In case anyone's logged in, I started a sheet at the desk so we can know who's here. It already got my name and cell number. Give me a call.

This is Noel. Reverb's at maximum an' I'm givin' 'er all she's got.

Yup, I'm Friday night only, which kinda sucks, but I've got a new baby at home. This will be the first year I haven't stayed for at least two nights of the Summit, but I'm glad I'm getting to go at all. Looking forward to hanging out, getting to play, and seeing all the great bands we're on with. The rest of the band should be there for the duration and I believe the rest of the Atlanta contingent will be along as well.

I'm probably one of the few here who knowbody knows on sight, so be on the lookout. I'm not sure how many times I can away with the old, "Don't I know you from SG101?" thing. Big Grin

The Atom Bumz (don, lew jeff, and bill) will be clear of MD by noon friday with an ETA of 5 PM. Staying at University Inn. Can't wait to see Killer Filler crank this thing up! We are part of the VA/DC/MD contingent and will look for old and new friends. We will see all of you around the UI and my favorite bar, The Cave! Mouse rules!

"There are some things you can't cover up with Lipstick and powder"

Folks, this is the last time I'll be online for a while; I'm putting in a full shift at work tomorrow, then heading straight to the Cave. If you need me, call me on my cell; my email will be gone fishin'.

See everybody soon! Hoo Hah! Big Grin

We are in Chapel Hill. See you tomorrow night. I will be wearing an orange turquoise and yellow shirt with cars surfboards guitars and LPs on it. (Not making this up.)

The Surge! brothers depart at 5:00AM from ed's place in the morning........no kidding. We will pick up Link en route and should be invading Chapel Hill by 1:00 to 2:00 in the afternoon.

Mike has us a jam spot reserved and we are looking forward to helping to make this event better than ever. Guitars are shined, amps packed, clothes stuffed in the van, the clock is ticking.

Best Reverbs to those playing tonight! Boy do we hate to have to miss this evening's bands!

Get 'em gentlemen! (and ladies!)

Traditional........speak softly and play through a big blonde amp. Did I mention that I still like big blonde amps?

The Bumz just rolled into the University Inn. stoked for a night of great music. Looking forward to seeing you all.

I'll be there tomorrow morning (University Inn).

What they said. FAR beyond my expectations. Every band gave a knock-out performance.

Every band last night just KILLED IT! Was great hanging out with fellow instro-heads and rocking out at ye old cavern tavern. Hats off to Crispy for continuing to grow the summit beyond any east-coaster's surf/instro wildest dreams. Thanks also to the amazing bands and attendees that traveled from afar to converge in Chapel Hill. I'm sure the next two nights will be equally awesome!!!!

Man, Friday night was a complete gas, what a lineup, I'm still smiling! It was really great meeting many of you for the first time, and of course seeing those familiar, friendly faces. Crispy has put something really special together here in Chapel Hill, NC and definitely deserves commendation for it, so THANKS!

night #2 fabulous

Barbara (my extraordinary most wonderful wife EVER, unless you have one too) just told me my daughter, Corradina, won Bronze for basketball at the PA Regional Special Olympics. And she also won $22.00 playing Bingo. My son, Henry, successfully escorted his first date to her Senior Prom. My extremely tired wife managed all this without me, and she is getting ready to take Corradina to her baseball game.

This is what happened at home while I was here. I am blessed with a wonderful and understanding family. And also many new friends, some I've just met for the first time, and some I've finally met in person. You know who you are.

I am exceedingly happy.
