Whoa, they said it would never happen. Glad to see the boys resolved their differences. David Marks was even in there playing guitar. —BOSS FINK "R.P.M." available now from DOUBLE CROWN RECORDS! |

That is going to be awful... It sounds awful... It is good adult contemporary if that is their goal. |

I've never seen a Beach Boys' concert that went well. Then again, I'm not old enough to have seen them in their heyday. However, I think I'll pass on this one. Last time I saw them was enough to warrant a quarantine. Matt "tha Kat" Lentz Last edited: Dec 16, 2011 23:24:51 |

I think they're just a few years too late to be doing this. Their rerecording of "Do It Again" doesn't sound bad, but it doesn't improve on the original. If they can sound that good on stage then it may be an enjoyable experience for those that go, but it just doesn't seem possible at their age (and after so many years of inactivity) to pull it off. —Sean Surf CD's / Vinyl / Fanzines / DVD's |

This is gonna be awesome! So, they're old. Who cares? This isn't a comback, this is a celebration of 50 years of great music. Screw the haters like Jake. I wouldn't go to one of his emo shows. I'm really looking forward to seeing these guys together for the first time. When Brian did his solo thing a year ago it was fantastic even though his voice couldn't do a lot of what it used to. Bring it on!!! I'll be there screaming my head off with thousands of others. —BOSS FINK "R.P.M." available now from DOUBLE CROWN RECORDS! |

^^ Yeah, what he said, only double! ^^ The Beach Boys are the sole reason I got into this whole "California surf and car" thing in the first place, and I'd love to see all the remaining guys do it again. I think they could do a really good job - what if they used Brian Wilsons backing band? "You can't tell where you're going if you don't know where you've been" |

Really hoping they come this way. My first real concert ever was also my first surf(ish) show (I know, the "Beach Boys, Surf?" debate is on the verge of (re)erupting any minute.) I'd love to take my girls and this be their first real concert too. I was too young to know better and could not have cared any less that it wasn't a primo lineup of the band when I first saw them in the mid-80's... but I'd definitely appreciate seeing this line up now. —Fady El Mirage @ ReverbNation |

"emo shows". Smart! And his voice being unable to do a lot of what he used to do isn't really the point. The poor man barely looks alive on stage. I feel really bad watching that. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cd9SwDRoZyI I'd prefer to not see that live and watch some old footage on ebay or listen to their records. They made some really great albums. |

Onslow, thanks for posting this press release. I think it's very cool that they are fully acknowledging David Marks' contribution to the group in this release and anniversary. For years because of his fued with father Murry he was left out of the history. It's super cool that he'll be there live and on the album. Great stuff... Since you didn't see any of these shows you have no right to comment on how it sounded live. The show I saw kicked ass and Brian was quite animated telleling stories between songs. Face it Jake, you’re a hater. I know you’re an Emo guy and all but there are people out here in the sunlight that like happy music. I don’t jump every chance I get to post how much I hate mopey guys in black nail polish, torn sweaters and skinny jeans that make boring music. —BOSS FINK "R.P.M." available now from DOUBLE CROWN RECORDS! Am I missing something? Do I want to know what it is? Or am I better off letting everyone enjoy playing (and listening to) the music they like? I'll go on record here and now saying I really dislike Disco. And Hip-Hop Country. And whatever it is that John Cage "writes". (Did he really write 4'33"?) —This is Noel.
