That was a FANTASTIC night of music AND camraderie. One of those special gigs that fortunately happen now and again and make all the shit ones worthwhile! It was a true pleasure to see the Concussions for the first time, and to see the Volcanos again - they never disappoint. An idea was floated that night (by Tommy of the Concussions) about a week-long summer tour of the Midwest by our three bands, which met a welcome reception by all parties concerned! We'll see....
So many great new songs by the Volcanos! Good luck with getting them to record them soon. I asked Rick that night about the possibility, and he seemed quite adamant it won't happen anytime in the near future. Those guys are super busy and have other bands. And I think we all know that recording and releasing a CD is a money-losing proposition anymore....
