HBkahuna: Tony Valentino, founder and lead guitarist of The Standells "Dirty Water" was so stoked by his SG101 Convention experience that he went home, composed and recorded a new surf song. Trying to figure best way to share. Tony gave his permission to share.

That was excessively violent and completely unnecessary. I loved it.

I didn't recognize that first song on Jake's video. Somebody please tell me there's new material in the works.

Wooza,
I can't recall, for sure but I think one of those songs was Slaying Beauty.
the first part was kinda hard to hear, but did sound familiar.
Im not sure if they are workingon new stuff, but I surely Hope so.

Yeah Warren, those videos are on the dvd.

the only thing that really bums me out is the ever present pressence of hip hop, even in the ska band had a hip hop singer after the constuction worker rap group.

Yeah, the second was definitely Slaying Beauty. The first sounded like it might potentially be some extended jam maybe, but I couldn't connect it to any song I've heard. My fingers are crossed that it's something new.
