Dude, I'm loving this album!! One of the best I've purchased in a long time. Hoping for more in the future! Any chance you'd share what some of the gear was used on the songs? Amps, tanks, guitars?

Peace to you, not on you

Yeah, I was going to ask Norm what effects he was using on the album as well.

Will

The Luau Cinders

Thank you very much, Diggey!!

The set up for recording was... Fender of course!

My gear was a'63 Olympic White Jaguar and a red re-issue Jag through a Fender tank into a '65 blackface Bandmaster. For the fuzz I used an Ed Sanner Mosrite Fuzzrite.

Jeff played a Jazzmaster through a '65 Twin Reverb, and a Strat for the rhythm on a couple of songs, but mostly he used the JM.

I teach driver's ed, and pretty much always subject my students to my music (I ain't listening to theirs!!!!). Had the CD going yesterday, and my student (17 yo female, in fact) out of the blue says "What music is this? I really like it!!! It reminds me of surfing, and the beach." Proceeded to explain the genre and who the band was. Trying to convert the youth, one kid at a time!!!

I miss wolf man jack!
I remember my dad listening to him when I was a little kid.

Jeff(bigtikidude)

Same here! Big fan of The Wolfman since I was a kid! So, I couldn't decide what to take so I'm taking all of this for the show! Starts in 45 minutes!

That's funny; my folks were big band. I was the one listening to the Wolfman and now we're both listening to Boss Fink.

"Ok, boys & girls, you got da Wolfman here with the Boss Fink and some ASPHALT THUNDER!"

That's cool! Man, it would have been a dream and an honor to have had Wolfman introduce our stuff!

There's already too many Elvises - never seen a fake Wolfman. (I think it's a felony but not sure...)

I enjoyed listening to you guys on Sootify on my way up to DC tonight from Virginia Beach. I'm looking forward to the hard copies!

Actually Norman, the Twin was on the fritz after I spilled a beer down the back of it. I picked up a '65 Bandmaster head that I played through the Twin cabinet.

Nice radio set last night by the way. Didn't catch it all, but really dug what I did hear.

Oh, that's right! Totally forgot. You know I dig the '65 Bandmaster!
