Here's my pedalboard, which is a work in progress:

image

Got the pedalboard, which came with a case, off eBay for $50. Currently the Tube Screamer on the top loop is off the pedalboard and has been replaced with a Keeley Fuzz Head, which plays very nicely with the Timmy and the Direct Drive.

'65 Fender Tremolux, '74 Princeton; 77 Vibrolux Reverb; '81 Princeton Reverb
'65-66 Hilgen Basso Grande
Dr. Z MAZ 18 Jr. + 1x12 Cab
Various Telecasters and noise-making pedals
Farfisa Compact Duo

Nice Timmy there... I got a Cool Cat V.1 because I didn't want to drop the bucks on the real deal. (I hear it's supposed to be a clone of a Timmy, but I've never been able to A/B them.)

The real deal sounds great, and they can be bought from dealers at $149 vs. the silly prices on eBay. I waited only a month for mine and through a '65 Bandmaster, a Princeton Reverb or a Dr. Z Mini Z it sounds great.

Haven't A/B'd them either, but very happy, especially for that price.

If you don't gig, does a book count?

why yes it does!!!

my line 6 has a foot controller but i don't think that would count. my digitech reverb just sits on the floor by itself. i'll have to build something for it.

some of the DIY pedalboards ya'll posted are really original, takes me back to the late 60's when everybody was experimenting with pedals and such.

line 6 and boss reverbs?? i don't feel so bad about my digitech now!!

Enjoying the surf,sun and sand!!

Latest version of mine. I updated from the Pedalpad to a Trailer Trash board, which I wired myself.

Cheeseblock Effects Loop Switcher (lets me switch between or combine loops 1 and 2, or mute everything)

Loop 1: Devi Ever Godzilla, Bud Wah, Jade Sting/Green Ringer clone, Devi Ever Hyperion, Digitech Whammy, Cheeseblock Effects Rat clone with graphics stuck on by yours truly, EHX Big Muff w/tone wicker, EHX Neo Clone Chorus, EHX Pog II, MXR Micro Amp.

Loop 2: Big Foot FX Spaghetti Western Fuzz (might be swapping it out for a less tempermental Boss Fuzz), Boss Blues Driver, Fulltone Supa Trem, MXR Carbon Copy delay, Boss FRV-1 Reverb, and at the tail end of loop 2 I've got send and receive jacks to connect to my Fender spring reverb unit.

Tuner/Mute jack goes out to a Boss Tu-2. The whole thing is powered by two voodoo labs pedal power IIs under the board. Input, Output, and Power jacks are located on the sides of the board, so I don't have to mess with plugging individual stuff in.

Here's my setup...image

I don't use any pedals. I used to use a pedal tuner, but I got one of those clip-on-the-headstock-tuning-thingamacallits and that makes it just as easy to tune. As far as my sound these days, I just like it as is: clean through the amp and reverb to boot. I will use my on-board tremelo from time to time, but that's it.

For my upcoming trip to Italy I decided to forego a pedal board and bough a bunch of these: image

They work great, and the offset allows for different heights of the jacks between the pedals. Now I have a nice tight grouping that holds together nice and straight. Yet it easily comes apart for storing the pedals and changing batteries.

I love these things. Sadly, my pedal board is a mash-up of pedals with both side jacks and front placed jacks.

Same here, I'd love to use these things to keep it tidy. But
a) lots of side and front jacks
b) it would mess up my order
@Danny: got a picture of the result?

The Hicadoolas

I just bought a Pedaltrain Pro board and T-Rex Fuel Tank. I'll be wiring it up tonight.

This is awesome!

I use a Vietnam-era mortar shell crate that was under some stuff in the garage. Put away the original hinges and added a couple new ones so the lid can be flipped and used as a riser. The front drops down like a ramp.

I got sick of lugging that thing over to my friend's house a couple of times a week though, so I just made a smaller, slightly less noise-oriented board out of scrap. It has a dainty little kitchen cabinet handle on the side Uh-Oh

I had an old DOD store display powered pedalboard that I got off Craigslist, with 6 pedals for $75. I sold everything off except for the Compressor, which I love. Anyway, I bought a large cutting board and Gorilla Glued and wrapped a $4 doormat around it (which acts like fuzzy side of velcro). Gorilla Glued two doorstops to the bottom to angle the board. I operate everything by hand so it's sitting on a $15 TV tray table Smile

Not in the Pedaltrain style but I couldn't resist. Traced this off of my old 70's oak skateboard.
