i went to the 24 hours of LeMons race this weekend in SC and since my son's team has two space themed cars, the planet express and the pizza planet, i thought it appropriate that i wear my man or astro man t shirt. (i also drove the planet express in the parade through the town that hosted the block party) — |

Dig that car. Carol did you have technical engineering input for the skeg? Wes DISCLAIMER: The above is opinion/suggestion only & should not be used for mission planning/navigation, tweaking of instruments, beverage selection, or wardrobe choices. |

the big tail fin and back side fins are made out of old beat up surfboards. the pizza planet (yellow one) ended up getting an award because of all they've done to it to get it race worthy. last race it did one lap. this race both of them got the checkered flag. these are both old mercedes diesels. —Last edited: Sep 21, 2015 10:05:41 |

I picked this shirt up at the Southern Surf StompFest last weekend from the Surf King himself, Bob Walk. I really like this design, simple and to the point. —-Tim |

My wife (who actually knows such things) saw the shirt & says I don't need another guitar. I should save up to put a '55 Nomad in the driveway. Indeed! I'll second that! She's got good taste! I'm a big fan of wagons too. I have a '60 Safari. The '55 Nomad is absolutely killer. —BOSS FINK "R.P.M." available now from DOUBLE CROWN RECORDS! |

Not a band, but the 2009 convention shirt. My wife wore her sg101.com shirt last weekend. |

Neat! Although the time is nearing when there will be more layers of clothing on, I found over the summer that various shirts got me to engage with other folks about instrumental surf. So there are now that many fewer people who WON'T ask: "uh, you mean like the Beach Boys?" 10-4 on the wagons Badge. My 1959 Rambler wagon (which I was "encouraged" to dive while in college) morphed soon thereafter into the full size Ford window van/Club Wagons that I have driven continuously since 1967. Only the ridiculously high gas prices some years back forced me to consider having a smaller more fuel efficient second car to drive everyday (but it too is a small SUV.) I sill have Van #9 sitting in the drive with 160K on it. It's a traveling, towing monster that we lovingly refer to as "the great white box." Well over a million miles on all those vans combined. But that station wagon started it all. Kinda like an Astronauts' album cover. Oh, almost forgot: Nova Rays shirt day. ed —Traditional........speak softly and play through a big blonde amp.
