I've been practicing hard recently for the Atlantics tribute set at the Convention, both the playing but also getting all the echo settings just right. I spent an hour today playing at stage volume (volume on 6 on my '62 Bandmaster through my 2x15 JBL Gomez cab) while my wife was gone. I wanted to share with you the state of my pick after playing three times through War of the Worlds, which features the 'end of the world' middle section - for comparison's sake, the one on the right is new. Smile

I CANNOT WAIT to do this for real! The only thing that can stop me is if my neighbors call the local lunatic asylum to haul me away after hearing the truly disturbed noises I'm making in my basement! Mr. Green

Haha!! This is cool!!! Yes, shred your picks down!!!

Maybe ask the neighbors for doing a little bit "end of the worlds" noise in the middle part together with you!? Cant wait to hear all this insanity live!

We are looking forward to meet you again soooooon!!!! : )

Twang cheers!

First practice in Berlin for the Wiki Waki Californian tour of Kilaueas.

The tour is unfortunately cancelled. Too many songs, and overall too fast. The band is sweating too much with this set list and the doctor says it is not good for our health. Also the Wiki Waki Woooo album is way too beautiful, the band does not want to be unfair with the other participants of the sg101 convention.

Moreover, the Schnitzel that I eat before practicing was not enough to maintain the tempo correctly, tomorrow I might try to eat 2 schnitzel.
I break a pair of drum stick every 2 songs, so this tour is also too expensive for me. And it is part of the live show to put the reverb tank on fire towards the end, so for the Californian tour we would need about 14 reverb tanks.

OMG... this is not going to be easy...
