Yeah, looks supercool. Good price on it as well (at least here in Norway)

I don't know the first thing about them either, but every time I hear the name, I always remember this great thread:

I have that one

It is a cheap nice looking guitar, easy to play, great great neck playability, smoth and very subtle tremolo and lot of pickup configurations with those three switches. No hums with those minihumbuckers. The sound of those pickups is good but it has less twang than a fender. With 10s stays great in tune. I have had not any weird issue since I got it and I play it almost every day.

The only thing that can be annoying is that the bridge pickup switch sometimes gets stuck in my picking hand when I play double picking far from the bridge because I tend to put my hand resting on the upper part of the bridge pickup (I do not if I explain myself with this as English is not my first language) but this can be solved with a minor technic change.

I think it is a killer guitar for the money.

Nilspempo, If you wish to ask anything more you would like to know about it I will be glad to help you as much as I can.

Yeah, please tell me about the neck, do you know what radius it has, and what about the pick-ups, how do they sound, can you compare them to anything, or even better, do you have any soundclips?

Thanks

There are a few demos on Youtube.
Love those fret markers Yes If it didn't look so superstrat-y, I'd be GASing like crazy.

Old punks never die... They just become surf rockers.

I would say that the neck has a C profile (no V neither D). I do not know the fretboard radius but it is much flatter than my other fender vintage style guitars and the frets are wide and big. I think that the neck is great and that is why I bought that guitar, but that is only my feeling about it while playing. It was weird because I usually don't like flat fretboards.

About the sound of the pickups:

Bridge pickup – less twang and more beef than my mij stratocaster but not as full and cutting as my telecaster.

Middle pickup – full, round and mild sound. Nice, nice sound.

Neck pickup – Lot of power (maybe too much!!!). It has a stratocaster with steroids vibe.

Bridge/middle and middle/neck – Think about a mild strat sound without quack. I do not use them as I can not think about a surfy or instro song with this sound (I do not like this pickup combination in my stratocaster either so I think it is something personal).

Bridge and neck – My favorite. The sound is more agresive and fuller than with the middle pickup but it remains mild at the same time.

Three pickups at the same time – I do not like them. A bit muddy sound without power.

The overall sound of the guitar with clean settings: think about a stratocaster with a raw sound, no twang and no quack, and more beef.

Sometimes those pickups can sound a bit trebly but the master tone works perfectly.

These are only my personal opinions about the sound. And bear in mind that this is a great but cheap guitar so do not expect the ultimate guitar... (I think English people say 'if you pay peanuts you get monkeys'). Anyway, I recommend it. You get what you pay for it and more IMHO.

Now I do not have any sound clip of the guitar. Next Tuesday I am going to my rehearsal room (well, I call it rehearsal room but it is actually a little farmyard with a roof, four walls and a door Sad ) and I will see if I can record some decent samples at rehearsal volume with a bit of reverb.

Wow, thanks for all that info Narciso, much appreciated. I do have a good deal of guitars allready, but there is something about this that tells me I need another one:)

If it`s not to much hazzle for you, I would love to hear some soundclips.

Thanks

There's one for sale locally, and I tried it, but they'd somehow gotten the whammy bar lost (go figure! new geetar'n'all), so I couldn't really find its mojo when I tried it out. (The shop still hasn't located the whammy bar yet).

But they are a great price
