Hey everybody,
I'm in the market for some 12" speakers. Right now I need 3 of em. A pair of 8ohms for a 2x12" cab and then a single speaker at 4 or 8ohms for a 1x12" cab.
I'm open to a variety of speakers. The 2x12" I'd love to fill with Greenbacks, but I'm interested to hear what you guys all have.
Thanks!

I've got a couple of Eminence Swamp Thangs for sale. A huge magnet, very efficient (loud), a beast of a speaker. I'm selling them only because I replaced them with what is in my mind the ultimate 12" speaker for surf music - EV 12L. The Swamp Thangs don't have a whole lot of time on them (mostly because when we play out I almost always use my Gomez Surfer with my 2x15 cab). I'm not sure if they're even broken in completely yet.
New I think they go for about $90 each. I'll sell them for $130 plus shipping.

I have a very nice pair of 8 ohm Greenbacks. They are the good British-made ones, not the Chinese reissues, studio use only, perfect original cones. Like Ivan, I replaced them with EV 12l's.
Also have a nearly new 8 ohm Tone Tubby 40/40 hempocone ceramic. Also replaced with a 12L.
$150 shipped for both Celestions, $75 shipped for the TT. PM me if you are interested and I'll send pics of the cones.

Thanks for the interest guys, Woody I pm'd you. Waiting to hear back.
Hey Danny!
I probably should make some mention of BNK, but we're becoming less surfy as we're all getting worse at our instruments!
We some good (or small) fortune, we plan on recording hopefully a full-length in March. If I'm gonna go on ahead and make a huff about us, I'd like to have some decent recordings to share. So maybe then I'll put up a thread. In the meantime we'll just book some house parties!
I hope you, A, and Ripley are doing well. Violet and I's best to you guys!
