Meshugga Beach Party played tonight on KALW in San Francisco. Check out the archive, it sounds pretty good! This show will only be available for one week.
Go to:

Click on Fog City Blues, and buzz up to about the 25 minute mark. 6 songs, lots of chatter. Recorded with 3 mics. Danny and Mel were both using their new Quilter amps.

Thanks for posting this Ferenc, and thanks also for getting the studio mics placed for a good mix.

I'll post in more detail in the appropriate thread, but I'm impressed by the Quilter amps.

This did sound really good and clear.

I was surprised Mel didn't reveal the terrible truth when ask if anyone in the band surfed. Isn't there something in the Dead Joke Scrolls about Jews being unable to surf because no one yet has perfected the art of surfing parted waters?

That was fun listening, sounded really great

If it wasn't in there before, it should go in now! Smile

That really put me in a good mood, thanks for posting that. The amps sound great. Great interview.

That was cool! Go-Go-Golem is one of my favorites from the new album.

I can't read the label on the headstock of the Mosrite-ish guitar. Please tell me what it is? Thanks.

Great show, and such a nice lookin' group of folks--almost a crime to cover up with beards!

It says "Meshugga".

That picture makes me smile. I got to hang with MBP for a while during the convention weekend in August. Great bunch of people!

Hey, my old Jazzmaster is seeing some action. It sure looks beautiful in your hands Danny.

I love that guitar Doug! Especially with the new neck and pots and Mastery bridge.

Serves me right for my sloppy grammar. Laughing What is the original brand of the guitar in the picture? Three pickups? Love that! Big Grin

Call Hallmark Guitars and demand the Mel Waldorf Signature Meshugga Mel Model. Big Grin

Thanks. But I'm thinking the standard Hallmark II http://www.mosriteforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=4524 is probably good enough for me.
