Time for Christmas music! I'll post some choice rock & roll favs over the next few weeks. First up....hear "Blue Christmas" by Elvis (of course), Bruce Springsteen, The Beach Boys and Brian Setzer here...http://rockabillynblues.blogspot.com/2011/11/kicking-off-christmas-music-season-blue.html

Who's version do you like the best? Obviously, many more have covered it. I love hearing the different interpretations.

I am sure I could google it,
But there isn't much discussion fun in that.

But who wrote Blue Christmas?
and who was the 1st person/band to record it?

I really like the Blue Hawaiians version on their
"Christmas on Big Island" cd.
you can hear it here:

here's a super, eclectic Christmas album gem with some surf guitar highlights and runs and a sprinkling of rockabilly and gospel and country: ANN-MARGRET'S CHRISTMAS CAROL COLLECTION! available wherever downloads are sold, and physical discs at www.theconnextion.com/artgreenhaw
