any updates on the LA benefit show?

Jeff

Assuming that post you dropped in was directed at me (??), I stopped hearing back from management as the date drew close to announce that big concert in L.A. for June 7th. I had some other cities and contacts to bring on board, but....well....sorry I cannot report more than that. i guess I'm out of the proverbial loop on this one, mate

Danny Amis just posted this on his Facebook wall:

Hello to all my friends, although I'm still looking at several weeks of recovery, I can now say that I made it! For the first time, I can say I feel like everything will be okay. I am now past the worst of this. I can't thank you enough for all the love and positive energy! I still feel awful and won't be very communicative here for a while, but the worst is over. Thank you all!

Danny posted this on Facebook:

I'm very pleased to announce that my latest lab results show my blood levels are all normal, and for now it seems the cancer cells are gone. I thank all the positive energy I've gotten from so many people. I still have to struggle to get over the treatment itself, and I hope my back will heal completely (BTW-I'm 4 inches shorter than I was a year ago!), but this was certainly good news to receive.

That is really, really good news!

4 inches?
yikes!!!!

what kind of treatment did they do?

Jeff(bigtikidude)

Jeff, I'm not sure, but I think I read that Danny's bones got so frail that he actually broke his back at one point. However he did walk out onto the stage during the LA benefit show, so maybe I didn't hear that right.

Could it be that they had to do a Bone Marrow transplant in his spine,
and the procedure's side effect is this?

Good to hear he is clear so far and on the mend.
I was really worried.
